TMA Data Management Limited (“TMA”) is a leading independent provider of end-to-end data services in the UK energy market, comprising Data Collection and Data Aggregation (“DC” and “DA”), smart metering and meter reading. TMA is a fast growing, highly profitable technology company that has grown organically without external capital, and sits at the forefront of energy data analytics. 
 
Incorporated in 1987 as an IT consultancy, TMA has always been technology and data driven. TMA has become synonymous with the analysis and delivery of energy related data that is timely, complete and accurate. 
 
Since Meridian's involvement as a shareholder in 2020, TMA has quadrupled in profitability and TMA Data Management is now believed to be the only remaining asset in this vertical which has achieved significant growth, in the absence of mid-market private equity or trade investment.  
 
During 2023, Meridian strengthened their commitment with TMA by increasing their shareholding. Given the dramatic changes that have occurred in the UK energy market, TMA has sought to take advantage of its position as a leader in the UK data energy industry. This has necessitated key hires at Board level and the entry into several important strategic partnership agreements.
