Founded in 2004 and located in Kingsclere, Newbury, D R Communications Limited (“DRC”), focuses on offering reliable communications products to the UK business market, wrapped with deep customer relationships, impeccable service levels and customer intimacy. They have Excellent partner relationships, including Vodafone Total Communications Partner with a long-standing relationship of 30 years.
 
In 2020 DRC underwent a management buy-out and as part of this transaction Meridian invested with Darren Thompson joining the board as an investor. Since joining Darren has introduced two key appointments by way of a new Manging Director, Sue Elliott and Chairman, Roger Flynn, both of which are highly experienced and have previous acquisition experience. 
 
The complementary skillsets of Darren, Sue and Roger have helped strengthen the second tier management team, while structurally reorganising the reporting of the business, and establishing clear objectives with both clients and employees. The company is now in a perfect position to support growth and explore new strategic directions.
